Victoria and Ewan (the videographer) unbox and review BenQ’s massively immersive gaming monitor – the MOBIUZ 32″ 4K Gaming Monitor. Here’s the TLDR/W.
At 32-inch IPS display with 16:9 aspect ratio, 1ms response time, 144Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro – it’s a beast on your desk. It’s ideal for AAA titles, and for video editors, you’ll appreciate the size. It’s an ideal alternative as someone who isn’t into ultra wide monitors, but needs a lot of screen.
It has two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4. We were impressed audio-wise, it features two 2.1-channel, high-end built-in treVolo speakers with five pre-set sound settings (Cinema, Sport Game, FPS, Racing Game, Pop/Live). While it’ll never quite replace headsets or an external speaker system, we were pleasantly surprised by the audio quality from a monitor. It also comes inbuilt with AI Noise-cancelling mic, which we’ve yet to test.
The EX3210U has HDRi technology “for image optimization”. Admittedly, I had no clue what HDRi was, so don’t feel silly if you don’t know too. I looked it up for ya. It’s BenQ’s proprietary tech, using adaptive technology to sense your environment lighting to adjust image brightness, contrast, and color temperature. It’s pretty convenient, as someone who is at her monitor from day to night and often switches between gaming, streaming, and work.
As for how it looks, it’s a beaut. Check that part out in the video.
So far, so good, it’s my new main monitor for now. Works great with Playstation5 too.
