Good Omens 2(?!)

Neil Gaiman continues the story of Good Omens without his previous writing partner - the late, great Terry Pratchett.

Neil? What are you doing, Neil? After making some fans pissy-hissy with your choice of casting for Death, you’re making another WTF announcement?

Like a sequel for one of the best limited TV series based on the amazing book you and your late friend worked on? A series that ended neatly just like how the book has ended neatly, and doesn’t need anything else to extend it, especially since there isn’t a second book?!

Wait… what?

Oh… so, there WAS a second booked planned, not just by you but with Terry Pratchett? Way back in 1989? When you two still were sharing a hotel room at a convention because you guys haven’t made it big with your respective titles like The Sandman comics by you and the Discworld Novels by Terry?

Right… okay.

Go on then. Give us more. More of that amazing post-Armageddon world, more of that marvellous David Tennent as Crowley, more of that adorable Michael Sheen as Aziraphale, and especially, MORE OF THAT DOG.

We still like you, Neil, you crafty man with your crafty words.

Best TV couple EVER.
Good Omens Season 1 is now streaming on Prime Video.
